We’re starting first in IT where we’re helping an ecosystem of Vendors, Distributors and Partners work more efficiently and effectively to drive better solutions for customers. We do this with the endorsement of some of people like Microsoft. At the core of Dynasource is a vetted database of skills – which we then use to drive recommendations about which Partner a vendor or distributor should work with on a particular project. 

What are your accountabilities:  

As a UX designer, you have a broad function where you work closely with the strategists, business analysts, product owner and the technical teams. You have at least 5 years of experience as UX/UI designer. You have fresh views and you love to be creative, refreshing and disruptive. You provide interaction and visual design in a mobile first strategy. You understand the importance of (simple) user interfaces and design. You like to go in depth in your target group and start ‘thinking like them’ from a user centered design perspective.  

Your main responsibilities as UX/UI designer: 

  • Solve complicated problems by applying user-centered thinking and logic;
  • Challenge established thinking and come up with new design concepts in the business;
  • Facilitate project discovery including: workshops, research, analysis, communication of the research findings and translating the research findings into actionable insight for design;
  • Architect, articulate and execute design research methodologies;
  • Map out customers experiences of using your products and services;
  • Ideate and create UX/UI deliverables such as user workflows, information architecture, wireframes and interactive prototypes;
  • Consult key stakeholders across their business to understand their culture, capabilities and goals;
  • Identify experience principles which describe desirable characteristics of using the new experience;
  • Help project management teams to organise the agile delivery of interdependent projects;
  • Present design solutions to delivery teams and wider groups of business stakeholders;
  • Liaise and collaborate with all delivery team disciplines; strategists, business analysts, product owners, designers, developers and QAs;
  • Plan work streams for UX/UI designers and oversee their work to provide feedback and direction;
  • Prepare and conduct usability tests to make sure we are meeting real user needs.

What we expect of you: 

  • At least Degree level (HBO; preferably User Centred Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communication and design and/or Product/Industrial Design with strong visual design capability;
  • User-centric thinking and a critical mindset;
  • Understands and masters UX/UI (design) tools like Axure, Adobe CC 2017 (Photoshop & Illustrator, XD), Sketchapp, Realtimeboard, Invision, Origami, Slack and others;
  • Worked on larger platforms before;
  • You are comfortable in pitching ideas to multiple stakeholders;
  • Create user-centric experiences and visuals on the highest standards;
  • Experience with user testing, ethnographic research techniques, web surveys;
  • Experience with A/B testing;
  • Able to setup and maintain a modular design system (such as atomic design principles);
  • Experience to work in multi-disciplinary teams (designers, developers, testers);
  • Proven knowledge with gamification;
  • You have worked in lean startup and/or agile environments;
  • You are able to facilitate workshops around UX/UI and keep the user in the center;
  • Accustomed to work in an international environment, speaks and writes Dutch and English to an excellent standard.
